Land-lines really are a thing of the past. Since the discovery of the cell phone, land-lines have taken a backseat. I mean, who wouldn’t rather be able to take a phone with them wherever they go? I can still remember having to find a pay phone while out and about just to make an important call. Moreover, the ability to text is important part of today’s communication. Texting enables all of us the ability to get an important message to someone that may not be able to take a call at a particular time. Even my eighty-five -year-old mother-in-law owns a cell phone and she know how to use it properly. Which for my husband and I is very important. We feel great satisfaction knowing she has a phone with her at all times in the event of an emergency.
