Every year we talk about changing how we handle the holidays and every year it remains the same. The problem is, I am the middle daughter of three, in my thirties, and there really isn’t much that I actually “need” or “want” and that can put a damper on the gift giving season. How do you come up with gift suggestions when you can’t think of anything? Seriously, what do most adults need or want? If I need something, I simply go to the store and buy it. If I want something, I send my husband.
Every year we talk about change and then Thanksgiving hits and nobody has ideas, December comes and goes, and we decide that we will make changes … next year. Some things never change. But perhaps, they will this year. Maybe, well at least for me, I think!
In our home we celebrate Christmas and we have always agreed that Christmas is for kids. However, it is still nice for adults to celebrate and be celebrate too so we do a gift name exchange, set limits, and go from there. This year I am going to start the shift; I am going to be the change, by focusing on experiences instead of just more “stuff” and I think I found a winner with California Delicious!
My little sister is a total foodie. I mean, she went to culinary school just to have better skills in the kitchen. I think she did it because she likes to call me her sous chef and boss me around while cooking during the holidays. Anyways, this year I will be surprising her with a beautiful gift basket like the Signature Wine Country Gift Crate that I received this weekend.
A signature California Delicious gift holds everything you will need for the ultimate wine country picnic. A bottle of Regalo Valley Ranch Cabernet sauvignon is featured along with butter toffee pretzels, sourdough crackers, organic Sonoma Jack cheese, Nunes Farms nuts, a California signature tin filled with white and milk chocolate sandwich cookies, Napa Valley mini mustard and a chocolate covered graham cracker.
Not a fan of everything wine or perhaps looking for a different selection? No worries, my sister is pregnant so I am on the hunt for something “baby friendly” myself! California Delicious offers something for everyone with options such as Coffee & Tea Gifts, Gourmet Food Gifts, Chocolate Gifts, and Fruit Gifts. Did I mention that they have Kosher and Organic Gift Baskets and even Spa Gift Baskets?
This holiday season, let California Delicious help you find the perfect gift basket to fit your need and wallet. They offer a variety of shipping choices and quality product.
