After slaving over all the things that artists, and radio DJ’s put us through for a chance to score some summer music festival tickets, its time to pick up some sunscreen and head out to the jams. I absolutely love how technology has made it so easy for me to keep track of everything going on this summer and in some instances I do not even need to be home to know what’s happening when I am far away. Check out some of these apps as we go through the most useful apps for this summer!
Stow
This app has such a beautiful user interface! I love the simplicity of it. It makes me feel like I am way smarter than I really am. We all love that don’t we? It basically helps us plan according to the weather and the place we are going to! Whenever I go on a trip I love having that one person go “Okay did you get this, this… and what about this?”. Whenever that person is able to do that, I either feel great about all the stuff I just planned or I get reminded to know what I need to plan for! So the app Stow, replaces that person! It’s almost like having a secretary but for free… and that secretary is also on your phone. It comes with ready-made templates for some things, but you will already most likely have those things. The strength in the app is actually showed whenever you try and remember everything and (like most people) you actually end up forgetting.
Festival Ready
This is an app that is a little more adventure/gps driven but its definitely usable when you want to remember where you set up your camp at some type of festival, concert, or anything really! I used it at Coachella a couple years ago and it was absolutely amazing! It’s able to give you exactly the details of where everything is. I wouldn’t even worry about using the apps that actual musical festivals make because they are rarely ever actually anyone’s that work effectively. I would stick to these 3rd party apps that will really be your best friends out there!
Alarm.com
You want to make sure that on every single vacation or trip you want to go on, that you can’t just hope the fort is still being held down by nothing! I would suggest getting some alarm systems that can help you use this app called alarm.com and then you will be able to do a wealth of things all from your phone! My family has had one of these home security systems set up for a while and they love it. They never have to worry about anything when they go on trips. It’s really a great thing! I can even do some spy work on my house and pets right from my phone!
This should be an amazing summer, I have everything planned out and even left some spaces here and there for the spontaneous trips!
