We admit it. We’ve counted the number of friends who’ve wished us “Happy Birthday!” on Facebook and never read all the posts. When we intend to get thoughtful gift for close friends, we end up texting them instead. These days, it’s hard to be as thoughtful as we’d like. We started Muse Factory to amp up thoughtfulness.
As entrepreneurs-in-residence at Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors, we interviewed hundreds of people worldwide about the most thoughtful and the crappiest gifts they’ve received. Using a “design-thinking” process we identified insights from people’s stories to create AwesomeBox.

So, how does it work?
- You head on over to AwesomeBox
- Choose the number of cards that you wish to have made for the recipient(s)
- Set a date that all cards need to be completed by
- Purchase the Box
- Send emails to the people that you would like to participate
- Sit back and wait for all the totally awesome cards to be created and delivered right to the recipient’s door
Each person who receives an email invitation, creates their card (all online). They can add photo’s stories and sentiments. AwesomeBox then prints all the cards, packs them up in a keepsake box and sends to the lucky recipient(s), who will love and cherish their gift for years and years to come.
The “Cards” are heavy duty and 5 1/4 inches square. The storage box in 6 x 6 inches and customers can choose a 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100 card set.
