Find just that right handbag for most any occasion, at 88 Handbags!
I recently donated one of my old favorite handbags to a women’s shelter, and found that I wanted something similar in color and size to replace it. I chose a black “Katie” medium satchel from 88, which is a company founded on the principle of sustainability. No animal products are used in the construction of their bags.
I thought that replacing a bag, which was being re-used by another person, with one from a company known for its commitment to the environment, quite appropriate.
The “Katie” satchel design is perfect for me for several reasons: 1. I need organization and the bag has a large central divider, plus three side pockets for separating items. 2. The satchel is lightweight (perfect for someone who doesn’t like being overburdened by a heavy bulky purse.) 3. It’s big enough to carry all necessities.
I selected a Black, Medium, Katie Katie Medium Satchel, but loved the other color selections…
The Katie come is so many different colors:

I call it my briefcase purse, because you can fit a small notebook or a tablet inside, along with makeup, a brush and all of the basic carry along stuff that most of us keep in our handbags.
The most important feature for me, however, is the shoulder strap. The “Katie” has both handles for grabbing and an adjustable strap for throwing over your shoulder.
I also tried the “Avis” mini tote. Now this purse is perfect for packing essentials in, when you don’t need so much. The “Avis” is about half the size of the “Katie” with the same features minus the center divider pocket. It can keep you organized, while still being small enough to be comfortably carried all day.

I like to have this type of purse when traveling on excursions. It’s big enough to fit a camera, cell phone, wipes, brush and makeup, but small enough that it doesn’t get in the way or become uncomfortable hanging on your shoulder all day.
